Suspicious Death at Palm island

In every other case if there is evidence that you are responsible for someone's death, the police will arrest you and place you under custody. The standard however differs if you are a Qld police officer. They let you stay on as a police officer!  Aussie values??
Why this double standard?
Is it because the victim is BLACK?
Express your concern.
